    Designer/Kumihimo: I would like to create fun things that match modern life while valuing traditional techniques. I think it is unusual for many people to work with braids, so I work near a window that is clearly visible from the street. It's also fun to have tourists from overseas take an interest in our work and often ask, "What are you doing?" We aim to become ``Kamakura's famous uncle who does unusual things.''

    In charge of designing and producing leather accessories and bags: I like old things that have been handcrafted by people, such as old sewing machines, folk crafts, and antique beads. The shop's work tables and desks were also procured from antique stores. The best thing about leather is that it gets used to your hands and develops its flavor as you use it. I want to create products that people can love and use for a long time. Every day, I'm looking for unique ideas that make life a little more fun.
