When making braided items, first we braid long strings. Following traditional braiding procedures, we braid a string approximately 1.6m long, then cut it to the length necessary for accessories and small items to create the item.
Therefore, after making several items, there will be some unused string left over.

My braiding teacher told me, ``The silk thread was obtained in exchange for the life of the silkworm, so it should not be wasted.'' So I followed his instructions and used the remaining string to make key rings and small bags. We sell them as charms, etc.

Since it is not something that can be reliably manufactured with precisely determined dimensions and specifications, we do not sell it in our online shop and only sell it at our store in Kamakura. As for the price, I think it would be good if you could pay about my labor costs, so I keep it at an affordable price.

However, even if it is small, it still has the beauty of a proper braid. If you like it, it will become a very clever Kamakura souvenir.
