Himeji Kurozan leather is a traditional Japanese leather craft, made from Japanese black cow leather that is tanned and lacquered, giving it a luxurious texture and luster. On the other hand, Italian vachetta leather is produced in Tuscany and is treated with an oil-rich tanning process, making it a high-quality material that is both durable and flexible. In addition, using a Nikko photography technique called cyanotype, we dye goat leather in-house to a beautiful blue color, and we carry a wide variety of handmade products made using this in-house in Kamakura.
