This is also an original design item from our store. It is made of stones picked up from the coast and wrapped in leather. It's called "Leatherstone".

There is a process called ``hanging'' that creates the upper part of leather shoes. The process involves aligning the leather to a wooden pattern, pulling it with a special tool and tapping it to make it blend in. If you do the same thing with a rounded natural stone, you'll end up with something like this. When customers see the actual product, they are all surprised and say, ``I thought it had been painted with something.''

Some people say they use it like a paperweight on their desk, or just keep it next to them and squeeze it occasionally because its natural shape and weight are comfortable. It is an interesting item that is somewhere between natural and man-made.
