Sakura shell earrings: Currently in prototype production. | Handmade at Handiworks in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture | Blog

Shortly after we opened, a customer gifted us a large jar full of cherry blossom shells. At our store, we use it to make colorful pendants, which have been well-received, but the recipients have also asked us to make earrings, so we started making prototype earrings.

- If you attach a chain about 2.5cm long, it will look cute as it sways around your ears.
・Since cherry blossom shells come in a variety of colors, it would be fun to sell them individually, rather than as a left and right set, so customers can come up with their own combinations.
- Prepare both silver and gold metal fittings and chains.
・I think it would be even cuter if I added a Swarovski crystal to it. But I think wearing something more sparkly than Sakuragai would actually have the opposite effect.

I would like to make some more prototypes while thinking about this and other things, and start selling them in the near future.
